Generic Name Gentianae radix (Gentian root) + Primulae flos (Primrose flowers with calyx) + Rumicis herba (Common sorrel herb) + Sambuci flos (Elder flowers) + Verbenae herba (Shop vervain wort)
Strength 6 mg + 18 mg + 18 mg + 18 mg + 18 mg
Indication/Usage This medicine is used for the acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and of the respiratory tract, also as supplementary measure in antibacterial therapy.
Dosage and Administration Always take Sinupret dragées as described in this leaflet. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your physician, the recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents from the age of 12 years: 2 dragées 3 times per day
Children from the age of 6 to 11 years: 1 dragée 3 times per day
Method of administration:
Take Sinupret dragées unchewed with some liquid (e.g. a glass of water). If you have a sensitive stomach, you should best take Sinupret dragées after meals.
Duration of administration:
Sinupret dragées should not be taken for longer than 7-14 days. If you experience no improvement by then please consult a physician.
Warning and Precautions Warnings and precautions:
This medicinal product contains glucose, lactose, sucrose and sorbitol. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose and galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency should not take Sinupret dragées. If symptoms last longer than 7-14 days or recur periodically, consult a physician.
Children:
The use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended because of lack of sufficient data.
Drug Interaction Interactions with other medicinal products or food are not known up to now.
